One can sleepwalk and be dreaming at the same time like Sky said, and you would probably be seeing split screen of both visions or be swimming back and forth between them randomly, or just have your subconcious direct you there and back. Its possible.

anything is possible, but I mean with an overt possibility. and yes, we are talking about Neo, so perhaps he could do something similar, although all his power was inside The Matrix. he could control his dream, but not his reality.

Yet he controls both his dream and his reality in the end, no?

Death...

shuffling off the mortal coil... no longer one with the physical reality. we're using Death in that context.

-The Loop-

Life is death starting over
Death is life winding down
Both are grandoise occasions
To the people of my little town
When Ma' birthed me I got a rocker
When I die I'll get me a grave
But untill then I'll keep on living
And when people pass on, I'll just wave

eat my poetic liscence.

*chomp chomp* mmmm......poetic liscense......

anywho. yes indeed, we refer to death on the physical plane of existance which we inhabit currently. However what if this existance is the purgatory and judgement which all have to go through? There's an interesting thought for you! (and purgatory being the whole christian heaven and hell deciding point for people who arent following along.)

Perhaps, just perhaps, this is Hell, and we get to go to heaven once we're done. or maybe, we all fucked up, and we're here for punishment. in the latter case, if this is punishment, what I left behind must have been...

dare I say...

perfect?

Well and if you dont pass what happens then? a WORSE place! (using the same formula that is) And anyway, perfection might have also been the thing that cast us here in the first place as well, since perfection isn't in the world where we are, and we learn from the lack of it.

and then, perhaps this is a perfect world. maybe this is how it's 'supposed' to be.
