well, think of the first feelings that you get from those dreams, in fact, all the feelings that you get from those dreams, and go with that. works for me and music...

"Rainy Day, Dream away" for example, is a really neat feeling, because when i heard it, i felt like someone was having a ball, every other person in the world was angry or sad or upset.

and of course, "Castles Made of Sand" gives me the feeling that the world is. some of it's good, some of it's bad, but it's what we've got to work with, and we just need to see a few more golden winged ships commin' our way.

hope that helps.and if it doesn't, sorry.

Well I say again, your dreams can be interpreted as anything, and mean anything, can mean you want to do something, don't want to do something, are deathly afraid of something, etc. You get the basic idea, yesh?

one more example. in the end of The Fletcher Memorial Home (Pink Floyd, The Final Cut) Roger does some really cool stuff with his voice. "are you having a nice time? GOOD BYE! now the final solution can be applied".

when i hear that line, i feel like something will be done, but it will be far from humane. of course, you must first hear the rest of the song to feel me, but hey.

you feel me?

Aye, I think everyone has one of those songs. The one that sparks the most memories for me is K-Ci and JoJo's "All My Life". I'll tell you why if ya like, but its a long boring story, even though it might bring some good points. Just don't wanna put it here if nobodys gonna read it. It SHOULD be in the spirital paths forum anyway if I do!

post it. in Spiritual paths.

and i'm currently on a song-writing binge. that is interesting. never tried my hand at lyrics before (although i've done some poetry now and again) so it's odd, but it's getting good.

now there's a strange feeling... putting your feelings on paper.

Nah, not really. I've written over 90 poems myself, all in one year just as they came to me. Havn't written in a while since Junior year is hell, but I'm planning to take it up again soon/sometime.

Oh well, you sacrifice some things to do others, and vice versa.

cool, one of my fav poems is the mirror, ill read (write) it to you:

i am silver and exact. i have no preconceptions.
what ever i see i swallow immediately
juat as is it, unmisted by love or dislike.
i am not cruel, only truthful -
the eye of a little God, four cornered.
most of the time i meditate on the opposite wall.
It is pink, with speckles. i have looked at it so long
i think it is part of my heart. but it flickers
faces and darkness separate us over and over.

Now i am a lake. A woman bends over me,
searching my reaches for what she really is.
then she turns to those liars, the candles or the moon.
i see her back and reflect it faithfully.
she rewards me with tears and an agitation of hande.
i am important to her. she comes and goes.
each morning it is her face that replaces the darkness.
in me she has drowned a young girl, and in me an old woman
rises towards her day after day, like a terrible fish.

wots ur fav poem????

Well I couldn't say. But maybe an excerpt from one of Dr Seuss's books:

Our buildings to you
Must seem horribly small,
But to us, who aren't big,
they are wonderfully tall!

And it winds up being relevant here as well! Holy crap!

And english words are smeggin awesome mon! Learn some!

Actually I do too. Nice people, had em over here for a week or so during the summer a few years ago. 'Twas a blast I think. Besides, we both watched the same old british comedy that I've mentioned before "Red Dwarf" (I highly reccomend it) so we had something to relate to. And after a while I was able to understand people with a HEAVY British accent, so now I've got a useful skill for future use!
