I was sorta thinking this forum would be to talk about the nature of prophetic dreams or visualisation to alter reality. Then Dream Theatre would be to hash over your own dreams.
I'll change the description of this forum to clarify... |

or they could mean nothing but one exact item in which you are meant to understand.
i'm guessing that it's both at different times. |

Well exactly...thats a part of meaning whatever you want them to mean...like how impossibility is a possiblility if everything is possible. |

if every things possible, then whats impossible......
hoh ma God, i got it,
it impossible for things to be impossible if everything is possible, but then, not everything is possible because of the impossibility of impossibility. so thats kinda wrong, cause in that way not everythings possible, but its a big circle, because you cant have possibility without impossibility, which means everything would never be possible, so this would stop the impossibility of impossibility making everything possible again. But you can never have one without the other, there'd be nothing to compare it too, so there would be nothing, and there has to be some thing to counter act everytihing.
i cant believe i understand that, what satisfaction... |

If I remember my quantum physics correctly, it's more accurate to say that nothing is really "impossible," but merely "improbable."
Something might be really fucking improbable, like levitating off the ground, but I don't think you can actually say something is absolutely, unequivocally impossible, based on our admittedly limited knowledge of how the universe actually works.
Just my two cents. I choose to believe that there's a good likelihood that, in some lake on this planet, dwells a plesiosaur-like creature and that there are all sorts of other weird things that just might exist out there. |

ya mean Nessie? i will repeat my original thought on the subject. this is inherently a flawed thought, however, as it's based on taking one fact into account as being true.
anything is possible, therefore nothing is possible, because anything being possible makes nothing being possible possible. in other words, they cancel each other out because neither really matters.
thoughts? |
